A synthetic analogue of the immune peptide tuftsin, extended with a Pro-Gly-Pro tail in the same way as Semax. It appears in the anxiolytic literature rather than the immune literature.
Where it came from
Developed by the Institute of Molecular Genetics in Moscow, alongside Semax, and registered in Russia as an anxiolytic.

What a buyer should know
The anxiolytic claim made for Selank in vendor copy, that it works without sedation or dependence, comes from the same narrow literature that established the compound. It has not been tested against a modern comparator in a Western trial.
