Settlement
Paying in USDT, including if you have never bought crypto.
Halden settles in USDT on the Ethereum network. If you already trade crypto this takes a minute. If you do not, the route below gets you there without an exchange account.
Send on ERC-20 only
USDT exists on several networks. Ours is Ethereum, labelled ERC-20. USDT sent over TRC-20, BEP-20 or any other chain lands at an address nobody controls and cannot be recovered by us or by anyone else. Check the network selector before you confirm.

Get a wallet
If you do not already hold crypto, install MetaMask or Trust Wallet. Both are free, take about three minutes, and give you an address starting with 0x. Write the recovery phrase down on paper. Anyone holding that phrase holds the money, and nobody at Halden will ever ask you for it.

Buy USDT
Transak sells USDT straight into your own wallet with a card or bank transfer, in most countries, without you needing an exchange account. Choose Ethereum as the network and paste your 0x address as the destination. Settlement usually lands in five to twenty minutes.

Keep a little ETH
Ethereum charges a network fee in ETH, not USDT. Hold roughly twenty dollars of ETH in the same wallet or the transfer will not send. Transak can sell you that in the same session.
- 04
Send it
We issue a settlement address with your quote, along with an exact amount carrying a few unique cents on the end. Send that exact figure so the payment matches itself to your order automatically. The address is good for that order only.

Confirmed on chain
Transfers confirm in a couple of minutes. Your order moves to dispatch once it does and you get the tracking number when the box leaves. No card, no chargeback window, no processor sitting between us.
Why we do not take cards
Card processors classify this category as high risk and tend to close accounts on review rather than in advance, usually while holding a balance. That failure lands on whoever is mid-order at the time. Settling on chain removes the processor from the arrangement entirely, which means no held funds, no sudden account closure, and no third party deciding your order is a problem after you have paid for it.
